MISSION:
The goal of the Workforce Investment Act Program is to assist the youth and adult participants in obtaining and retaining employment in a profession that is gratifying and leads to self-sufficiency

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Individuals in the program must be considered eligible to utilize the State and Federal Funds. Youth are eligible if they meet the following requirements:
- Fourteen (14) years of age or older
- Low-Income
- Deficient in basic literacy skills
- An individual who did not receive a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Homeless, a runaway or a foster child
- Pregnant or parenting
- An offender
- An individual who requires additional assistance to complete an educational program, or to secure and hold employment
For those youth not meeting the requirements to qualify for State or Federal Funding, the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe provides a quantity of funding annually to operate a Summer Youth Component
